Arthri Aid™ Omega Dog Supplement supplies the necessary building blocks to help the body’s own natural manufacture of cartilage.
A joint is where two bones meet. It is surrounded by cartilage and filled with “joint fluid” (synovial fluid). Both cartilage and fluid combine to give the joint its flexibility and shock absorbing qualities. Over time, joints can lose some of their quality resulting in reduced movement and swelling. In the normal day to day life of a dog, the joint cartilage is continually being broken down and replacement cartilage is being manufactured. However, this balance can be upset due to trauma or simply old age. Many dogs need assistance with the regeneration of cartilage and reduced risk from further deterioration.
Arthri Aid™ Omega can aid the body’s natural repair of joint damage by suppling the necessary building blocks (Glucosamine & Chondroitin) to help the body’s own natural manufacture of cartilage. In addition, Arthri Aid™ Omega contains Omega 3 fatty acids which are important for overall joint health.
Many dogs need assistance with the regeneration of cartilage and reduced risk from further deterioration. The ingredients in Arthri Aid™ Omega can aid the body’s natural repair of joint damage by:
- Glucosamine, an amino sugar, is the starting point for the production of new cartilage and is fundamental to maintaining joint function.
- Chondroitin is a major component of cartilage, maintaining the spongy texture. This is essential to absorb shock and nourish and lubricate the joints.
- MSM is a naturally occurring sulphur compound which helps soothe knocks and bumps, returning normal joint mobility.
- Manganese acts as a co-factor in the synthesis of collagen & Glucosaminoglycans.
- Vitamin C is a powerful anti-oxidant that acts as a free radical scavenger therefore protecting cartilage breakdown.
