Arthri Aid™ Omega Cat Gel supplies the necessary building blocks to help the body’s own natural manufacture of cartilage.
A joint is where two bones meet. It is surrounded by cartilage and filled with “joint fluid” (synovial fluid). Both cartilage and fluid combine to give the joint its flexibility and shock absorbing qualities. Over time, joints can lose some of their quality resulting in reduced movement and swelling. In the normal day to day life of a cat, the joint cartilage is continually being broken down and replacement cartilage is being manufactured. However, this balance can be upset due to trauma or simply old age. Arthri Aid™ Omega Cat Gel can aid the body’s natural repair of joint damage by suppling the necessary building blocks (Glucosamine & Chondroitin) to help the body’s own natural manufacture of cartilage. - Glucosamine – Glucosamine, an amino sugar, is the starting point for the production of new cartilage and also stimulates production of new cartilage.
- Chondroitin – Chondroitin is a major structural component of the connective tissue in cartilage, tendons, ligaments and even bones. A major function of chondroitin is to attract fluid into cartilage molecules, which is essential to absorb shock, nourish and lubricate the joints.

Good product, very appealing to my cat who is a reluctant eater. The dispenser is waste-proof and the entire product is used down to the last drop. You can mix it with wet food or give it as is.
Being a supplement, its effectiveness must be seen after a certain period of use but the improvement has been seen in my cat.

After the miracle of the cat not eating around this or just refusing to go near food with this on (all cat owners know this scenario) I was pleased to see that for the 2 hours of activity a day my cat exhibits, she seems to be a tad more agile after just over a week of taking this. Jumping up and down has less hesitance. It’s very hard to really tell if they are in less pain, but she certainly has improved, if slightly, in a week.

Arthri Aid Omega comes in a little plastic bottle of gel, which is dispensed by a pump. It’s easy to use, just put it in their food. I have been giving this supplement to my 18 year old cat, who has been moving around a bit more stiffly than she used to in her younger days. She also has inflammatory bowel disease so has to have a restricted diet. Thankfully this supplement doesn’t cause her any IBD symptoms at all and given her otherwise boring diet she’s happy to eat food that I add it to. I’m not sure if or how much this supplement has improved my cat’s mobility but she does like it
